Go to a computer

Find the link of the video sent to you by Mitchell Barkman Videography. Download the video to your computer. It generally falls into your folder titled ‘Downloads’.

Login to Facebook and go to the page you manage / want to post the video from

Along the panel, click the tab sectioned ‘Publishing Tools’

Click ‘Create Post’

Click on ‘Photo/Video’

Click ‘Upload Photos/Video’

Then find the video file you downloaded to your computer, select it and hit ‘open’.

Your video will start uploading

(The progress bar at the bottom left will turn green once complete)

Write in a title and a description.

You also have the option to tag people in your post. Tagging relevant people and business pages will help more people see the video.

Add the appropriate tags.

You can add up to 8 tags to each of your videos. The tags are the keywords that help you when people search for topics related to your video. Facebook advises, "Use tags that consider all the different words people might use to search for a video like yours." Certain tags may include key themes, topics, places or names.

You can click on the thumbnail tab to choose an appropriate thumbnail or hit ‘Add image’ to upload a custom thumbnail. (Sometimes provided by myself!)

Alternatively, you may choose an auto-generated image or video frame.

A thumbnail is the preview image that people see before clicking play on the video. The image must be clear and have the ability to grab someones attention.
